About This Content

The Class 377 ‘Electrostar’ is Britain’s most common Electric Multiple Unit and a favourite of London commuters, and now you can drive this advanced passenger train on Train Simulator.

Replacing the popular slam door trains on south coast routes, the Class 377 is a common sight on routes out of London, primarily on mid and long distance services, and can run on third rail and overhead line power. The first Class 377 units entered service in 2002 and currently total more than 200. They are also considered to be one of the most advanced commuter EMUs, with a sophisticated train management system, CCTV and air conditioning as standard across the fleet.

The Class 377 for Train Simulator is available in First Capital Connect livery, with features including working cruise control and dynamic in-cab display screens. Also included are three scenarios for the London to Brighton line.

The London to Brighton Add-On (available separately) is required to play the scenarios with this Add-On.

Scenarios

Three scenarios for the London to Brighton Add-On:

 • FCC Class 377 Introduction
 • FCC Evening Commuter
 • FCC Winter Worries
More scenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game. Train Simulator’s Steam Workshop scenarios are free and easy to download, adding many more hours of exciting gameplay. With scenarios being added daily, why don’t you check it out now!

This train is really like a reskin of the Southern 377 from the London - Brigton route. Charging $20 USD just for a reskin and scenarios is wrong, I agree with everyone with the reviews here that it should be cheaper. If you don't have the Thameslink Midland Mainline route which is London St. Pancras to Bedford then I would recommend you get it through the twin pack which I got this through so that way you could save money. If you own that route already then I would rather say wait for a sale to come by to buy this train alone.

There's even no scenarios for MML so no wonder why they had inculded this in the twin pack.. looks the same as a southern. It's just a reskin and an addition of an AC 25kv pantograph, but it's certainly worth the buy, when on sale.. Charging full price for a reskin is just plain greedy in my opinion so I can't recommend it on its own. However, there are loads of scenarios that use it and the repaint itself is fine so is still worth picking up either on sale or as part of a package.. A varied loco, with wonderful textures but frankly space age physics.

Pros:
- You get a reskin

Cons:
- Not worth £11.99 just for a reskin
- Do NOT get this unless you want to spend your money on nothing!

. NOT recomenned, but mostly in a sale, £11.99 is really quite steep!. This train is a reskin of the original 377 from the London to Brighton route. But costing an extra £12. Buy it on sale or not at all.

Felix.. Just a rehash of the existing 377 with the brighton mainline but in fcc and an unbranded livery. Would have been nice to have included a thameslink livery as an update but of course not dtg made this remember. Also on UKTS there is a freeware variant and i think when you get the london to brighton scenario pack on armstrong powehouse you get an fcc 377 too.. Why Is My Class 377 Emu FCC Not Working Line Bin Could not be Loaded And Only One Scenarios Winter Worries (that dont't Work) Where is the other two scenarios?? For My Brighton Line? I've Completed Everything Else Brighton Line except 3 scenario 2 missing and 1 not working and it say's it's already in my library??? besides this The Brighton Line it's great:
Today 27th September Great News as follows: Class FCC Introduction, Evening and Winter Worries works in standard but nor career! Train Simulator Get Winter Worries Working Again please. Not a whole lot to say about the FCC 377 as it looks, handles and sounds like the 377 that comes with the Brighton route by default except that it's in a different colour scheme. Only downside is the looped running sounds at regular intervals at high speed are annoying but nothing that a Armstrong Powerhouse sound pack can't fix :)

There's one tutorial scenario and a couple of regular ones but the only reason I got it was to plug the gaps and expand my options in the workshop and 3rd party scenarios but most importantly it was in a bundle at a lower price otherwise I likely still wouldn't have touched it for awhile.
